From Christopher Haick regarding the planning board and the October 1 meeting of the planning board. This is in regards to the Muslim Cultural Center. I went to Town Hall today and I confirmed with the Clerks Office it has been sold contingent on planning board approval. The planning board has not released the minutes to the October 1st meeting ( which I requested and was told as soon as they are available I will receive them via email). I then went to the building department and received a verbal confirmation of the same and in addition was told the Planning Board has given their stamp of approval. This does not appear to be a rumor any longer. One other interesting thing is The Town pointed out this organization tried to relocate to the Town of Niagara and was denied. They did not know why or where and under which circumstance.
