After discussing with myself i have chosen to Vote for Fiji First, and i convinced myself while blindly writing a comment on my friends post. Quote Here is whats going to happen, we will move forward with democracy and if we choose to elect a Government that is mentally, ethically and credibly sound we will eventually take 10 more steps backwards. Why you may ask? The answer is simple, power does not lie with race, religion, education or finance, power in Fiji... True power lies with whoever governs the Military. In the past years the Military and the Police force have been to protect and serve the Government and its people, this has never been successfully fulfilled until 2006 till 2014 where no coup took place, logically who in their right mind coups armed military. My logic may be flawed and that is ok because it is mine, and the logic is what ever the vote and who ever takes over democratically there are consequences for everyone, this is a situation where its a lose lose. I personally would like a democratic Government that can not be coupeed, the benefits out weigh the economic loss if there is another coup. Now i am open to other opinions condition you reside in Fiji and experience the day to day life of being a Fijian. I have less then a day to change my decision, if you feel i have missed out something i am open to educated, well informed and credible information / suggestions.
