After dismissing my call for nonviolent revolution as unfeasible, middle income neo-liberal activists actually do something. They get out the vote, sign petitions, join boycotts, hit the streets, chant slogans, make speeches, elect candidates, and then return home to watch the rich get richer, the poor get poorer, and the wars get bloodier — all on the wide-screen, high-resolution television in their split-level suburban houses.
