After driving by the Silver Star Bar MANY times over the years, Hubby and I finally stopped in on Saturday afternoon. They had lots of cars out front. When we entered we realized it was because they were having some type of card game going on. Since I dont play cards I will just guess it was a Euchre Tournament. Michelle took care of us while we were there... We had the Special of the day....50 Cent Tacos and $1.00 Burgers.... Both were very good. On the table was a flyer for their November 10th Monday Night special.... BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Goulash, Potato and Cream Corn..... $8.00 (You have to admit that is a deal) We decided to Make it a date and come back on Monday night..... That is where we were last night. The food was good, once again Michelle took care of us and they had a great turn out for their buffet. They are having a Seafood Special coming up this Monday November 17 serving from 4-9. All you can eat Frog legs, Perch and Shrimp.... Normally they plan on serving 200 but this Monday they will only plan for 75 because of hunting season. Advanced Tickets are $16.00 ... they will be $20.00 at the door. SO PLAN AHEAD if you plan on going. Of course I asked if they had a Facebook page so that I would be able to SHARE this info with ease.... I got a NO to that Question. Bummer... So if you go please tell them your read about them on Facebook... Maybe Mario will see what a benefit Facebook can be to him......
