After going through all your demos here are some general things you guys should focus more on: 1. The Kick- Its the most important part of your track, its the core. Make sure your kick is in key and that it punches through. 2. The Structure- Try and make the song 3-5 minutes so DJs will play it out. 3. The Mix/Master- a good mix=a good master…focus on eqing and compressing individual elements so the track as a whole will sound better. 4. The Sub- A lot of producers forget the sub on both the breaks and the drop, it is not enough to have a mid range bass line. 5.
