After having read more than 40 books on leader and leadership, I realized we have no a good leader or good leaders at all. Some of the books that I read twice are - The Servant and Leader by Robert P. Neusche, Leadership Is an Art by Max Depree Leaders Who Last by Dave Kraft, Next Generation Leader by Andy Standley, The Accountable Leader: Developing Effective leadership by Brian Dive, How to Grow Leaders by John Adair, The Heart of Leadership: Becoming a Leader People Want to Follow by Mark Miller, The Catalyst Leader: 8 Essentials for Becoming a Change Maker by Brad Lomenick The Trustworthy Leader: by Amy Lyman and Hal Adler Leadership: All You Need To Know by David Pendleton and Professor Adrian Furnham The Mentor Leader: Secrets to Building People and Teams That Win Consistently by Tony Dungy and too many books in my library collection. So what? I see everyone is talking about leader and leadership. I know none of these people has a damn clue what leadership is all about. What is leadership? Who is leader? Can someone here show me a Somali leader who is willing to unite his/her people regardless of their clan and regional affiliation? If you do it, you prove me wrong. We do not have genuine leaders. We lack leadership.
