After hearing all of the controversy regarding Phil, a reality star on the popular television show Duck Dynasty, I decided to do some research myself, beginning with the primary source of the interview itself. I would classify myself as a humanitarian, wanting ALL people to be accepted for who they are and what they believe. After fulling reading Phils phrases in his GQ interview, it is very apparent that he meant no disrespect and simply stated his beliefs - which are what resonate with him and demonstrates an individual being themselves. Although you may not agree with his beliefs (and him with yours), attacking or disrespecting him is not only hypocritical, but goes against all aspects of good moral and judgement. You may disagree with his lifestyle, and he may disagree with yours, but there is more that we all have in common than that what makes us different. Lets make the first commonality respect; from this, love will inevitably emerge.
