After last nights revelation that new traffic enforcement laws were being reintroduced in Hugh Town, its been announced that a crack team of wardens is being flown in from Penzance to oversee that rules is the rules. The S.W.A.T team of Traffic Enforcement Officers have been in training for months and were hand picked for their lack of empathy and all have PGCEs in Jobs Worth Its also been muted by the island council that theyre considering the banning of all cars on the island and returning back to pony and traps. New bylaws to be introduced from next Spring also include the banning of woman wearing skirt hemlines above the knee in town and prohibition laws will mean that only tea and coffee will be served in the pubs, which will reduce late night crime and rowdy behaviour and free up the island police to solve real crimes.
