After many years of research, IBS finally started a Buddhist Sramanera School in Nepal. This Buddhist School is base on Chinese Mahayana monastic training. We only accept students who are willing to dedicate their life and become monk. There are 10 students already from rural areas. Most of them are from poor family where their family cant effort to send them to schools for eduction. The founder of IBS, Master Hueiguang, has this vow ever since he practiced Buddhism. He said, It is necessary to educate the young kids in Nepal and India about Buddhism where Buddha Dharma started. Today we are able to practice Buddha Dharma because of Buddha and his follower from these places. For many centuries now Buddhism is not the major spiritual practice in India and Nepal. We Buddhist should reciprocate the kindness and compassion of those great masters who had spread the Buddha Dharma around the world.
