After months of uncertainty the Immigration Department has contacted Dariyas family and informed them that she has been granted a Medical Treatment Visa. This proves that time spent putting pressure on the unfair policies and actions of the Abbott Government, whether its the GP tax, $100,000 university degrees or the threat to deport a seriously ill child, is not time wasted. Thanks to everyone who signed and circulated our petition. You have helped a terminally ill child remain with her family and get the support and care she needs. Dariya’s family is so grateful for your support and compassion during this tough time.
