After more than 4 months in Perú, I am finally leaving. Perú is a magnificent country and almost everywhere you look there is something to get your attention. Apart from its historical/archaeological sites, Perú has an incredible environment - coastal desert, mountains and rainforest - which should be enough to satisfy most tourists needs. The people are great (except when attempting to drive vehicles) and are proud of their country. Thank you to all the people who have helped to make my visit so enjoyable. To Sonia and Diana and Carlos, who made me feel like one of their family. To Israel and Eduardo at Monte Cristo for keeping me well fed in Lima. To Ernesto at Inka Frog in Lima for demonstrating how neighbours treat each other in Perú. To Mike at South American Explorers for helping me to hit the ground walking.To almost all the tourist companies, for showing respect and trying to give me what I wanted, particularly, Sipan Tours in Chiclayo and Rumi Tumi Tours in Cusco. I have been fortunate to have made many new friends whilst in Perú and I hope I can maintain those friendships and perhaps return someday. Together with all of the people too numerous to mention, you have enriched my life. Hasta la proxima.
