After much deliberation SVG Motorsport have decided to join the Ginetta Challenge for 2015 in their newly acquired Ginetta G40 race car. We believe this is the first step on the ladder to our eventual aim of taking part in the prestigious British GT Championship. 2015 will see SVG Motorsport start with one G40 with the aim through the season to run a second car.This will be a steep learning curve for both team and drivers but SVG have the help of some respected engineers from a top line World Sportscar Team alongside there own engineers. The Ginetta G40 is powered by a modified Ford Zetec engine producing approximately 170hp with 6 speed sequential gearbox and limited slip differential.The car weighs 800kg and will run slick tyres.The steel space frame is of exceptional strength and quality to protect the driver,the body work is a light weight fiberglass unit.
