Balfronians watch out for a gent named Richard (?) roaming the village tonight for the Better Together campaign. Regardless of how youre voting he was downright rude. Knocked at kids bedtime and woke the baby but I could have forgiven him that. On telling him were a yes household he proceeded to say Well, I fear for your childs future gesturing to my half asleep daughter in my arms. I was horrified. He kept on at me despite seeing it was clearly bedtime. Smirking the whole time at me he offered me a leaflet to use as a dartboard and asked if there was any way he could convince me to vote otherwise. I was nothing but polite to him and was so taken aback by his comments I couldnt say anything at the time but I am fuming now Ive sat down. Wondering who to put a complaint in to then I can form something a bit more eloquent? Disgusted that a stranger would come to my door uninvited and speak to me like that in front of one of my children.
