After much prayer and family discussions, coupled with my disdain for the utter decay of educational standards in The Greenville County School District, more specifically, their middle school magnet student (no child left behind program), we have decided that I will home school Donna starting the 2014-2015 school year. It saddens me that our schools are on a downward spiral, our teachers are overworked and underpaid, and children who havent found their voice yet like ours can so easily slip through the proverbial cracks. Not my Donna . God has made a way. Please join us in praying for this decision, that God will lead me in teaching her and be our guide. I majored in Education in College, Am a certified ABA Autism Therapist and really learned a lot from my time with Brittany Bell (thank you) that will prove invaluable because everything happens for a reason. Any moms who currently home school and have advice, please feel free to share! I also heard there is a program that will provide a laptop for her use? Please, any help would be great! God bless!!!!!
