After my orientation for Giant Eagle, I now truly realize what a great company I will be working for. Not only am I being paid well above minimum wage, I make an extra dollar an hour on Sundays, have paid vacation time, affordable health care after I am there for a year, and discounts on groceries, my phone bill and even if I buy a certain type of car I am eligible for a discount. Not only that, but there is little to no turnover rate among employees, in my department alone, over half have been employees with giant eagle for over five years. And even MORE onto the already great things about this company, free counseling, a care program that can help with emergency expenses, and a great 401k program! My first day is Monday! :)
