**NEWS FLASH!** The Sassy Nanny would like to announce Today by 3:00 Miss Persephonie had twin bucklings!! I checked her this am and thought she was a little off.I went to see Irene and feed the other 2 farms! When I came home I went to finish up the goats! Turn the girls out make sure everyone has fresh clean water and to fill the outside hay bunk! I talked to Persephonie and gave her some scratches then I knew for sure she was acting funny! Remember I told you she was not my most friendly goat? Well she came right up to me and pressed her check into my body and just stood there I started to scratch her again and she just looked up at me with the sweetest eyes I have ever seen! At this point I thought no way am I going to turn you out! So she got to stay in the barn today! I check on her a couple of times and thought Im pretty sure shes going to have them today! So the last time checking well it was time for me to stay with her!! So glad I did not turn her out! So happy she had the bucklings in a warm clean stall not the cold damp ground! She did fantastic! Very good mama very alert and attentive!! She did so good!!went pretty fast for a first timer!! They are beautiful! got everything cleaned up made sure boys got something in their tummy! Moved them to a clean stall fed mama got her some fresh water gave her some magic and a few treats! Now everyone is happy and tucked in for the night!! I was able to collect 2 cups of colostrum this pm from Persephonie She a first time Freshener. She did pretty good with the miking thing! She will get the hang of it!! Thanks for reading!
