After nearly three years of uncertainty and testing it has been determined that I must have surgery as the consequences arent anything to consider. I had a consult with one of two surgeons today the other I will meet next week. I have opted to allow the Cleveland Clinic in FL to perform the surgery as the surgeon I will meet with next week has fantastic credentials and experience and implemented the intestinal transplant with the surgeon I was meeting with in OH. As of right now I am anxiously preparing myself for surgery for the end of April or May but after a few months of recovery time I can return from the island of misfit toys and begin living without the heaviness hanging over my head.
