After only a few days in Rochester NY I feel like I have found a home and a lifestyle I never want to leave. Eating vegetarian and vegan is not only simple and easy but also unbelievably diverse and delicious. Living in a community where everything (with the exception of toothbrushes) is shared and work is distributed evenly makes so much sense. I would have to say the best part by far though is waking up every morning, working hard till lunch time then spending the rest of the day taking long walks or sitting on the porch with a cup of tea. I now know how to mow a lawn with an old fashioned push mower, trim hedges, paint ceilings and trim, harvest fresh fruits and veggies and so much more. Happiness really does seem to be an easy choice lately.
