After presenting a MLK Jr. Community Service Award to folks from the Georgia Innocence Project (ga-innocenceproject.org/), Peter was pleased to introduce them to Ali Fadlallah (MBA14), who will work with them as part of his social enterprise engagement in this spring’s Social Entrepreneurship & Impact Investing course. Ali will help them promote their Life Sentence project, and particularly the Life 20|20 song collection. The Life Sentence Project is a collaboration between a creative team (including songwriters Melanie Hammet and Ben Holst) and the Georgia Innocence Project, and Life 20|20 tells the story of the GIP’s first exoneree—Clarence Harrison. Ali is excited about the opportunity: “During my time with GIP, I hope to bring “Life 20|20” much deserved exposure and possibly turn the project into a revenue stream for the GIP!”
