After reading and hearing numerous reviews of the place, I got around to trying Firebell for the first time this evening. I had the Dr. Leo burger (8,500 won), a beef patty (cooked medium) topped with American cheese, Thousand Island dressing, a red onion, dill pickles, a slice of tomato, bacon and romaine lettuce. Upon ordering, I was surprised to see that one of the two guys behind the counter was the same guy who used to work at Brooklyn the Burger Joint in Samsung-dong, as well as at the one in Galleria in Apgujeong. Now Im really interested in knowing the scope of the relationship between BtBJ, Gilbert, and now Firebell. Anywho, back to the burger. In short, it was excellent. Juicy, juicy and juicy without falling apart. All veggies were super fresh, especially the onion. Fries were also a treat. My son had the Oreo shake, while I finished the meal off with a Dr. Pepper ice cream float which cost only 3,000 won! Will definitely head back again to try the other burgers on the menu.
