After reading both of his books multiple times, I relate to Rob Lowe more than any other actor I can think of. Its like Im reading about myself verbatim and hes giving me tips to avoid the chaos of this industry. Ive always been a take the backseat kind of person and thats gotten me this far, but Im tired of the nice guys not medaling. I dont believe we finish last, but I do believe we dont benefit fully. We arent given enough credit and the second we decide we dont wanna be the rug anymore…were automatically the asshole. We sit around and wait to be told to jump instead of handling the rope on our own. One of my favorite things he questioned was if the press, or the public even cared about him as a person...or if they just care about the characters/stereotype he plays. I question the same thing when it comes to some press, but I am very thankful to know that my supporters always get me and have my back no matter what. There is so much more to a book than its cover
