After several requests for this video and debates on who were the greatest basketball players to come from the streets of Los Angeles I have decided to post the full 72 minute version of Local Legend: The Raymond Lewis Story. This video was completed in February 2001, upon the passing of Raymond Lewis. While this tribute video may not answer all the questions, it will surely give you a very good idea at how a local legend was born. With interviews from friends, family and teammates, and the only video from his funeral, you will hear why, in 2015, the name Raymond Lewis still stirs up fond memories, emotions and heated conversation. Hopefully this will fill in the gaps until Dean Prators The Raymond Lewis Documentary Project and Baron Davis Drew League documentary are released.
