After the fall of Nonito Donaire, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao in their march for greater glory in the world of pugilism, the Filipinos were rooting for the Miami Heat not because of the BIG 4 ( Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Ray Allen) but because of its illustrious Coach Erik "Spo" Spoelstra. Spoelstra who is Filipino-American just got his second consecutive Basketball World Championship ring from the NBA, a rare feat basketball coaches can do in the most prestigious basketball league (NBA) of the world. Should the Miami Heat get its third consecutive Basketball World Championship trophy by next season, Coach Spoelstra would be building a basketball dynasty in the National Basketball Association and in the process would join the basketball coaching immortals with the likes of Phil Jackson, Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, Red Holzman to name a few who had at least garnered three championship basketball rings. The Filipino people are so proud of him, kudos to KA ERIK.
