After thinking this thing over Ive finally reached a conclusion. We had plans for Jakell to lead Auburn into several winning seasons and I (WE) planned for him to go Pro 😊. I watched Jug with his boys years ago. He kept them in sports, coached and did what a father should. I saw Jug change a lot over the years. Hes always been a hustler but he became an entrepreneur. #Selfmade A great husband, father and provider. The world may have kept quiet but we were watching. God took you to another level in Him bc he knew what the future would hold. See if this had happened in 1995-99...we know it wouldnt have ended well. But God! Your maker, your creator molded you for this season. Some may say well why did God allow this? My answer: If a potter forms 2 pots out of clay & makes one with 2 handles and one with 1 handle...should the pot with one handle ask the potter, Why did you make me this way? Or should the pot just be happy that it was made? Gods thoughts are not our thoughts neither are His ways our ways. Was it His will for Jakell to leave? Of course not. But what the devil meant for evil, God has made it good. Jakell Mitchell is a legend at 18 years old, homes all around the world know his name, celebrities tweeted their condolences, strangers are wearing his shirts and his community is showing love for each other. Why?? Because Jakell lived! He wasnt a celebrity but he leaves a legacy. How can that happen except by the hand of God? The greater news is that If a man dies in Christ, tho hes dead...he yet lives.
