After three tries, our feisty boy FROSTY got sedated so he could be groomed, cleaned and checked thoroughly. The boy was a bit stubborn and did not want to cooperate by taking a nap for us the first two times. FROSTY is not the cleanest dog weve ever come across and, on top of it, he will not let anyone touch or groom him. Unfortunately, we found a lesion which our surgeon suspects to be an epithelial tumor like squamous cell carcinoma. Due to Frostys advanced age and condition, we have collectively decided to leave it alone, as it is not bothering him, and make him comfortable for as long as we can. (Frosty came to us 2+ years ago because his back end was so bad that he could not stand. We brought him to make him comfortable. He had other plans. :) We suspect he spent his entire life in an outdoor pen without human interaction. )
