Presented by Jeremy Wimpey, Principal, Applied Trails Research.. Galbraith Gap and Chute Trail Projects – We will spend a part of this time examining maintenance practices being incorporated upon these sections of trail, which connect the Galbraith Parking lot to the Lonberger Path. Practices include improving a section of trail impacted by a spring and armoring of the lower section of Chute Trail. The rest of the time will be spent on the hand construction of a sustainable ascent to Lonberger Trail. *** PARTICIPANTS MUST RSVP BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 2ND. Cross 322 West, then turn right onto old route 322. Penn Nursery is ¼ mile, on the left. Directions to Galbraith Gap Parking Lot (from Boalsburg): Follow 322 East approximately one mile to Bear Meadows Road on the right. Take Bear Meadows Road past the ski slopes; Galbraith Gap Parking Lot is to the left,shortly after coming onto State Forest Land.
