After three years of study at CLS, we hope students are able to read and speak English well and have enough ability to learn at the next level at secondary school. In the first year students use three English literacy textbooks - Smart Phonic 1, My First Grammar and Reading Boot Camp books. When they finish they are able to spell, read new words by themselves, use some basic grammar such as tenses (present simple, use verb to be...) and use daily communication with other people.
