After transferring from Orlando HOB , my first shift someone got shot on stage. I recall so many great times with awesome co workers, 50 cent shows with riots in the streets, and calling security back inside for their own safety, Arich the Gm, asking me what the heck I was doing, and telling him, if LAPD cant handle it and they are armed, pretty sure our team will only get hurt,or worse. Also remember on an hip hop show, talib qwali I believe, people in his entourage not wanting to be wanded before entry, and the artist threatening to not perform. It came very close to being a serious physical confrontation, but our staff kept professional. I met with talent buyer, Shane Berry who was my boss, the artist agent, basically said if the dude who caused the major problem is allowed in building then most all of security staff was gonna walk. And so would I . Needless to say dude didnt enter n show went on. So much that happened their changed my life and the staff was like family, Lamont Thompson Cetre Pegues Salvador Sagrero Lewis Powell Nano Cabello Jeremy Booth Kiki Bennett Roger DeAngelo Tony-Lyn Takagi angel valerio shaun cook chris takagi , foy , bob, queen B, all the restaurant staff, bartenders, cocktail servers, security team, everyone was so cool and worked together to make the magic happen. I remember getting in trouble for comping meals for security team because most of them could barely afford to eat, but showed up everyday with great attitude n teamwork. I know I was a little out of tge ordinary as a manager with my goofiness and happy go lucky attitude, but it was one of best years of my life. So many more names I could throw out but , I would be here forever. ONE LOVE ! HELP EVER HURT NEVER!!
