After waiting a week to have a prescription to be filled that I called in last week and hearing nothing I called my dr. I was told by some very nasty woman that I needed a yearly check up! I proceeded to tell her that I was there in October and a year would be this October! The prescription is for the estrogen patch! She berates me for not having had a certain test since 2012 and I then let her know that since I had a COMPLETE hysterectomy there are test I do not need! I made an appointment just so I can get my patch(the happy patch as we call it in our home)! Luckily for this nasty woman on the phone I am wearing it! I think when I see her on Monday I will remind her that when my uterus was removed so was my filter and she should count herself fortunate that I have enough left to get me thru Monday! She will be very fortunate if I dont have a hot flash while i check in as I still get them when I am irritated! Sheesh!
