After watching the experience unfold in Sydney yesterday with the siege at the Lindt Cafe in Martin Place, I wanted to share some insights with you. Whatever you fear in life you will eventually manifest in order to help you see how what you fear, is being of service to you and maybe others. Nothing in life or in nature occurs without teaching us something that we need to learn and it is wise to look for the value in those tragedies or crises, rather than to allow fear and judgement to run your life. This tragedy created a rallying around a group of people that hadnt been done before in this country. There was an acceptance of other human beings for they are, not what they choose to believe. It gave us a clear idea of how much the media can actually manipulate what we think and feel and it also highlighted potential flaws in how we manage our judicial system in this country. Yes, it was a tragedy and no I dont condone violence or those people having to lose their lives in order for us to become more aware, accepting and unconditional but those people who lost their lives, at the hands of one person, have given us a lot to think about and consider. When we devalue others and put ourselves on a pedestal in relation to them, were encouraging this type of situation to occur in society. Everyone wants to be valued for who they are and people will go to extremes and do crazy things in order to have those needs met. Were largely driven by subconscious and unconscious motives. #SydneySiege #Illridewithyou #Sydneyhostagecrisis #empowerment #transformation #inspiration #connectwithothers #equality
