After years of ever-swelling portions, food and restaurant companies have expiremented with smaller plates and packages. Even McDonalds the king of supersizing serves smaller servings of desserts and french fries then it used to. Pringles, PepsiCo, Applebees, Kelloggs, Nabisco, Campbell Soup Co, General Mills (who makes Yoplait Yogurt) and even the Cheescake Factory with its Skinnylicious menu offer smaller plates and smaller portions. Why do they do this? For one, its more profitable. People pay more so its more profitable .... it is healthier, . Is this a good thing? Should we have to pay more to be healthier?
