PRESCRIPTION PILLS TO HEROIN. Ive talked to literally hundreds in active addiction and in recovery. Only 2 people told me that they started with heroin (both said they snorted it.) I think this number must be higher and that is why it is where we need to start with prevention efforts to young kids. What is equally as shocking as these statistics is the fact that the majority of people I spoke with had no idea the pills were synthetic heroin and that they were becoming opiate addicts.
