After yesterdays record breaking high in the low 90s in Casper - TopicsExpress

After yesterdays record breaking high in the low 90s in Casper today will be a much more seasonable day. The passage of a cold front this morning will leave not only Casper but the entire state noticeably cooler. Highs will be seen peaking in the upper 70s and low 80s under at times partly cloudy skies with rain and thunderstorms to at times clearer and dryer conditions. Tonight: A cool and cloudy evening with the slight chance of an early evening shower or thunderstorm. Lows will cool to the 40s and 50s so keep a jacket on as you head out this Friday night. Saturday: Its the last weekend of summer 2014 and a very comfortable weekend to step out and enjoy! A high Saturday in the 70s for most areas under clear and dry skies, sounds like a recipe to head outside and enjoy some of those Fall colors! Looking Ahead: Sunday will for much of the state seem like a repeat of Saturday with highs again in the 70s under clear and dry conditions East of the Divide. For Western areas increasing cloud cover and rain potential will be seen on Sunday, a sign of things to come Monday for those of us East of the Divide. Both Monday and Tuesday will be on the gloomy and cooler side with rain and thunderstorm potential and highs cooling a touch into the upper 60s and low 70s. After the dip in temperatures to start Fall officially Monday night, the rest of the week looks to be offering up sunshine and comfortable highs in the 70s. John Shrable K2TV
