After yet another controversial Nikki minaj video featuring Nazi propaganda references, Im really disappointed about what media and pop culture has come to as far as music videos and their shock value scheme for popularity. If I were an adolescent nowadays I would have to dig really deep to find any role models as a woman, as a lover of hip hop, as someone who values meaningful relationships, as a supporter of social justice causes... I keep trying to find some sort of redeeming quality because of irony but I simply cant. Im just so disappointed. Sincerely, Benefit of the doubt
