Afternoon all Righto, just been to the doc and I have all my test results back - nothing there to indicate any issue at all. Re-tested my blood pressure, pulse taken at about 6 different places, BMI still good, chest clear etc so everything from what Ive been tested for is clear with no dramas. I called Lisa from the transplant unit today and she said if theyre happy with all the reports Im faxing to her on Tuesday, shell get in contact with her counterpart at the Monash medical centre here in Melb so I can have the next stage of testing done here - tissue matching, cardio stress test and the social worker interview. Prior to that theyll take a sample from Darryl to be sampled with me. Satisfying all these procedures looks like the green light. Lisa will call me Tuesday and by the time she starts work shell have the test results and the report from my GP which has OK and normal written all over it. There will be a slight delay as their tissue delivery to Melb is in early July but the transplant team will have plenty of time to analyse my test results and the profile of my health and state of bloods / kidney images and chest X-ray. So there we go, another step closer. Ill keep posting as things occur and will continue to be fit and healthy ;)
