Again, Im posting this because its a very serious matter when it comes to our downtown. The proposed project takes advantage of the current statutes and in no way, shape or form represents what we would like to consider responsible development for the betterment of our town. Due to the fact that some units will be affordable housing, all town regulations are essentially flushed away. Our town representatives are the key to this project. Please write or call them and inform them of this project and encourage them to attend the meetings/hearings. District 1 (26 & 107) in bethel is where the proposed project is planned, so those representatives would be the first to contact. Our town officials need your help so please consider joining them; for this project will seriously alter our beautiful town. Also please feel free to share this with friends and family in town.
