Again ... The people that Wahhabism messed up do not deserve full freedoms yet. I lived in Egypt in 1980 when women always dressed provocatively and no one attacked them. Now ... After 30 years of the brotherhood and the Wahabis poisoning Egyptian and other middle eastern societies, a woman cannot feel safe anymore unless she is fully covered up and there is police or army nearby. The people will be ready for freedom one day, but there is work to be done to fix what went seriously wrong first. Blame? 1) the west that allowed its most horrible allies (the Wahabis) and tools (the brotherhood) to do whatever they want ... As long as they are useful to western political agendas. 2) Secular regimes that did not want to risk taking on religious fanatics. They pampered them as long as their activism stayed out of politics.
