Again tonight Charley got a little weepy about going to kindergarten. This time he was worried about not remembering where to go. We practiced what his first morning will be like, taking pictures and giving hugs at home, walking to the bus (our bed), giving a high five and riding away. And I told him how teachers and helpers would be waiting for him at the school. I even said I would write his bus number on his hand and he liked that. We practiced meeting at the bus stop at the end of the day too. Hes the kind of kid who handles things better if he knows what to expect. Tomorrow morning we might even walk down to the actual bus stop, who knows! Praying the real thing goes as well as the practice!
