Agreement between two diverse individuals can be an extremely subjective experience prone to considerable misunderstanding and later conflicts. If you are truly honest with the other person, before purportedly agreeing on anything, you will take the effort to immerse yourself into the other persons realm of experience. If you are a giving and understanding sort of person, you will depart from your own frames of reference entirely and surrender yourself to new experiences and accept that perhaps the agreement was one of awe and admiration, rather than one of diligence and trying to squeeze consensus on the least common denominator.
