Agriculture Education Spotlight: Ms. Rebekah Haddad is the Glencoe Silver Lake Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for Agricultural Education and is currently working on her Master’s in Agricultural Education at NDSU. She says the best part about teaching agriculture is turning ‘em loose and letting them surprise me. She also shared, I’m an ag teacher for the days I come home with dirt under my fingernails and mud on my shoes. I’m an ag teacher for SAEs, CDEs, and the “ah-ha” moments in class. I’m an ag teacher for late nights, early mornings, and long bus rides. I’m an ag teacher to turn the kids loose and watch them amaze everyone around them. I’m an ag teacher for all those moments I had nothing to do with, but was privileged to be part of. I’m an ag teacher because I get to have fun every single day. Thank you Ms. Haddad for being an Ag teacher!
