Ah, after an afternoons business meeting, I am back at the luxurious Motel 6 in the industrial section of Mesa, AZ. Shoes are off and my feet are throbbing. I gotta say that 2 miles looks a lot shorter on the map than it is in real life. It is also shorter in the morning than it is in the afternoon when one has already walked it. And that is shorter than it is in the hot Arizona sun! I am so glad I have the Warrior to serve me at times like this. The Warrior served well, and big EDD (my higher self) laughed a bit at Ed, the human in me. But all is well,. my day is over, the BBQ ribs were delicious and tomorrow is another day, to do it all over again, but with a later start and post-dinner meeting that will run until late. Ah, life on the road is fun. I did take a lot of pictures, though, of simple things that one would miss if not walking. I will take more tomorrow and post them, if anyone wants a glimpse into the mundane world of a business trip. :-)
