Ah, the forest is my bliss.: youtu.be/15tlxKZlPUY Yesterday I had the most glorious walk though the woods to our friends home. Getting out and finding my way through a part of the forest I had never traversed (approx. 2 miles) and coming out of the forest to their road only 200 from thier driveway was a fun, beautiful, and interesting smile the whole way challenge. Had to laugh at myself at the last little bit of following deer trail up a little embankment when I got to the road, as clearly they jump the barbed wire fence, but my option was a giggling belly crawl under, with hope no one would see this sweaty giggling crawling woman coming out of the underbrush. Im feeling it (!) and every ache is filled with gratitude for breath and returning stength. Plus Im over the moon heart pleased, but Ill leave that little announcement out till Ive confirmed permission. My favorite parts of the day: Red Tailed Hawk announcing me as I entered the forest and again when leaving. And as I was putting on my boots to leave a big hug from the most beautiful three year old saying Bye Sandra, Ill see you again soon.
