Ah yes, another shooting in a public place, clearly the solution is even MORE armed police/security and even MORE erosion of liberty and privacy. Surely is has NOTHING to do with the fact that the people who perform these shootings are turned into minor celebrities and have their pictures, names, and kill counts, plastered all over TV for weeks on end. Knowing that they will go down in history is exactly what appeals to these troubled people. This epidemic of mass and school shootings is created by the news media its self! There have been numerous reputable studies done on this subject. Now whether this is being done on purpose is up to your own interpretation, but one thing is clear, the US and other governments are clearly exploiting this to create fear and using that fear to pss numerous laws and acts that otherwise would have never gotten off the ground. If you dont believe that governments, or western governments at the very least, will not take any chance they can get to increase their citizenry reliance on them, I envy your naivety.
