Ahhh, employees. People that have to leave every day immediately at oclock with no exceptions or room for margin. People that are more concerned about when they get to go home-- the time they walk out the door and how long they feel they have spent at the establishment rather than the excitement they should feel about all of the goals they set and hit that day. People that miss the pleasure of being a part of the expansion and growth of the business for which they work -- the reflection upon looking back at the day that has now passed them by and thoughtfully recalling the progress of collaboration amongst their peers and the overlying purpose that is the mission of the business of which they are privileged to be a part -- a piece of a system that changes peoples lives for the better every day just by the customers that are simply being served as a result of how well that business does what it does... I want to be a part of that business. Dont you? No. We dont have that much anymore. Thats exceedingly rare. Instead were more concerned about how soon we can take leave to get away from work. I read once that instead of wondering when your next vacation will be, that instead you should set up a life that you dont feel the need to escape from. Thats wise advise. I dont want employees. I want Team Members.
