Ahhhh, the joys of home ownership! You guys havent heard much from me today as I have been dealing with a fairly serious homeowner issue. Tomorrow I will be pulling my entire sump pump pipe up out of the ground. Thinking the bottom of the pipe is cracked where it connects. Your sump pump is not supposed to run 24/7 just turning over water already in it. My electric bill ought to be nice this next month. :/ Good times. NOT! At least Im handy and can fix it myself, saving me around $700, if that is indeed the issue. Might take some serious elbow grease with the proper tools to get that big ass nut on the piping unscrewed! Will find out in the AM when I get in to it. For tonight Ive unplugged the thing. Hope it doesnt rain. Lol (For those of you wondering why my sump pump is outside and not in the basement, well, this house has all sorts of special things. LOL After this house was completely built and finished, they realized that there were going to be some issues due to where this house sits and decided and NEEDED to install a special french drainage system. Oh joy!)
