Ahmad Rozaidi Ujang, representing a group aimed at giving back to the society, are helping children suffering from cancer at the Pediatric Ward of Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya. These children, range as young as 4 months old up to 18; are in need of medical devices as follows: 1. PICC (Peripherally Inserted Central Catherer) - a tube inserted in a peripheral vein in the arm, and then advanced proximally toward the heart through increasingly larger veins for the purpose of chemotherapy. The device costs roughly RM650 per unit 2. Winged needle - the device to provide entry access for medication to be delivered through the PICC into the patients body. It costs RM375 per box of 25 pieces. While PPUM does help in giving out these devices for free, the delivery takes longer and the children would have to wait for their turns. Moreover, the cost to purchase these devices may not be affordable to all parents as typically, one of them would have to quit their job to full-time assist their child who need 24 hours attention. Their intent is to help the children to get their treatment as fast as possible and to reduce the burden of their parents. He would be able to provide you with more details. Please contact zaidi ujang for the details. Your sincere support in any form is appreciated. Ahmad Rozaidi Ujang Facebook: https://facebook/zaidi.ujang Thank You.
