Aimee and I are heading to the Northern reach of the Philippines tomorrow for several days. Were honored to be able to stay at the estate of Pacita Abad. Her cultural work is broad here, and her legacy lives on through supporting young artists from the proceeds of those who stay at her family home. What a gift! She passed away several years ago. Her family is from Batanes, and the place is outside the main town of Bosco. Ireland is like the Batanes of the Philippines.
