Aint to proud to beg... The letter below references my bosses 2 yr old son. Please read and say a prayer with me. Subject: A day of prayer for Joe Dear friends and family, As everyone knows, we were admitted to Childrens Mercy Hospital on Oct. 1 for vomiting that had been going on and getting worse over the last two months. That night we were told that Joseph had a tumor that was blocking the flow of cerebral fluid from the brain to the rest of the body and he would have have brain surgery. We were moved to the PICU. An MRI was done the next day and that evening we found out that there were many more tumors in Josephs brain as well as his spinal column. The wind was knocked out of us. He was diagnosed with medulloblastoma stage 3-4. This type of cancer is not only aggressive and fast growing but it often comes back even if they can shrink it with chemo. Joe has now had two brain surgeries and we now have to wait for him to heal before we begin chemotherapy. This healing process has been very slow and joe is in a lot of pain. He cant talk, he cannot sit up or stand up on his own and he is not urinating on his own. The doctors are telling us that all these things will come back but it all depends on the child. PJ and I have been overwhelmed and humbled by the amount of love and support that we have received. Many people have asked how they can help. Im writing today to ask for that help. We have been honest with all of you by saying that it will take a miracle to save Joe. We want to ask you to help us storm heaven for that miracle. October is the month of the rosary and tomorrow is the anniversary of the final vision of Our Lady of Fatima, where Mary addressed herself as Our Lady of the Rosary. I would ask you to join us in a day of prayer beginning tonight at midnight and ending Monday night at midnight. We are humbly asking if it be possible, for people to try to visit our Lord in Eucharistic adoration, attend holy mass, say the holy rosary, go to confession, or offer any prayers that you can offer. Our Lady said to St. Dominic, You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary. So we put our trust in The Lord through the intercession of Our Lady of the Rosary and St. Joseph to fully restore the health of our baby boy if it be His will. Please feel free to forward to anyone whom you think would like to join us or anyone I may have missed. Peace and all of our love and gratitude, PJ, Mary, Thomas, Luke, Eva, Joe and Michael Sent from my iPad
