Today our Baby GIRL is 15 weeks and 5 days old! Only 170 days to go... Well, Fridays can be DANGEROUS for me! Its when my mum and I get together at our local shopping centre for a coffee and catch up...and have baby stores galore at our fingertips! Let me just say that our little lady got quite a spoiling today! Three new ADORABLE short onesies, two DIVINE outfits (tops and pants), a bulk pack of bibs and....her first hair bows!! Yes....its begun!! Whats great about my mum and I shopping is that we LOVE a bargain (as you know!!)! I think we got the lot (8 items of clothing, plus the bibs and bows and another little precious item ill take a pic for you of) for $35! And great quality too! There are heaps of sales here being the end of financial year and so we took advantage of it! Again though, we didnt go overboard as we know we have lots of clothes as gifts and hand-me-downs to come! But its still nice to buy some new items yourself! It keeps my joy and excitement fresh! I cant help myself! Shes my princess and I see everything thinking of her first now!! Not that I need to shop to be excited! I just look at my wifes growing belly everyday and swell with love! Bliss!! Great news too- we have ORDERED THE COT AND CHANGE TABLE/DRAWERS package!! All going well with freight, it should be here mid next week....which means next weekend its NURSERY TIME!! Well, the beginning of it anyway! Decorating is a whole other story! But we certainly arent doing anything too extravagant! We are renting after all, and as long as the room is fresh and calm we will be happy! We want simple and elegant, and of course we will have an Owl theme! We are heading back to IKEA (MASSIVE furniture store) on Sunday to get another bookcase for her room since the package we have now ordered doesnt have one! WE are coming out MUCH cheaper with this deal though as opposed to the bigger package we were originally going to purchase! Yes, we have less items, but its going to work SO much better in her room! We have limited space in there, and so cramping it full of furniture just because it was there perhaps wasnt the best way to go! We now will have three simple and classy features- lovely cot, stylish change table/drawers (all in one) and elegant bookcase! WE also have more drawers tucked away in the wardrobe for extra storage, not to mention all the hanging space! Soooo exciting!! We have some friends coming over for lunch tomorrow which will be nice! They are bringing their 3 year old and 4 month old! All I can say is that baby is never going to leave my arms! Mine just wont come soon enough, so until she comes Im just going to smother myself in other peoples! LOL! Tomorrow we will have BABY ITEM OF THE WEEK and of course BUMP WATCH!! Chels keeps coming out to me, lifting up her shirt and saying look, pointing to her little nest thats growing beneath the surface! I BEAM every time and she giggles!! New life is simply SO amazing...but also just so much FUN! We are like little school girls every time we think of it!! Hehe!! So, with tomorrow being a busy one for us I may not get to write an update post, but the little features will still be up!! Ill post some pics of my buys from today too!! I have others I need to take snaps off too from last week! If you saw our VLOG you would have seen them, but if not you wont have! So Ill get them all together tomorrow and take some FASHION SHOTS!! VLOG will be up this weekend too, so stay tuned for that!! For now though, we are just sending all of our love!
