Air Force Policy Discriminating against Active Duty members with a physical disability? So I had the worst day of my AF experience yesterday. As some of you know I tested for promotion for the first time in 3 years this last March. The TCO at JBSA Lackland tells me that my test was not scored due to a recent policy change out of the Secretary of the Air Forces office which states; Members with a physical disability are not eligible for promotion. He continues to tell me that Ive lost my eligibility during the cycle, and this now negates my test score going retroactive for the 2 cycles I maintained eligibility for. And my test will not be scored. Talk about pissed off. For the first time in my career I went off. Now Im left thinking has this AF which I gave so much to, now discriminating against those of us with disabilities?
